Member Services:
| Hotline and Rewards Program:
Reward signs are the first line of defense against thieves and vandals. These large and colorful signs engage workers on the site, are visible to vehicular and pedestrian traffic as well as businesses in the area, and announce to the community that criminal activity will not be tolerated on your jobsite. CICP also uses TipSoft, which allows us to receive tips via the web: https://www.tipsubmit.com/WebTips.aspx?AgencyID=451 We can also accept tips via text message, by texting 274637 (CRIMES). Enter CICP and then text your tip. The different avenues for tips allow both the community as well as employees to safely and anonymously send us tips in whatever way they feel comfortable. |
![]() | Broadcast Email and Fax System: CICP distributes theft and vandalism reports, or ALERTs to CICP members and law enforcement officials throughout California and Nevada. These reports also are distributed to NER (National Equipement Registry) as well as our sister organizations across CA and the Pacific Northwest. Well over 5000 people regularly receive CICP ALERTs. - this is a substantial number watching out for stolen property. The ALERTs also provide information about how thieves are getting onto jobsites, what they are taking, and specific steps that contractors can implement to make their jobsites less vulnerable to criminal activity. Law enforcement officers use the system to distribute information about recovered items when the owner is not known. |
| Jobsite Security Surveys:
CICP staff will come to your jobsite or equipment yard and conduct a site security survey. These surveys help to identify areas which make your site vulnerable to thieves and vandals, and secure high value target equipment and materials. Our reports are second to none within the industry, and our suggestions and recommendations have led to millions of dollars in saved time, man hours, and potential replacement costs. |
![]() | Jobsite Security Tailgate Sessions: CICP provides our members with security education and awareness training for employees, front line supervisors and executives. These training sessions can be tailored for tailgate meetings, quarterly safety meetings, conferences, or other special events, at your discretion. |
![]() | CICP Signage and Decals:
CICP provides our members with signage and decals specifically developed to assist members on their jobsites with theft and vandalism. These signs give the communities, as well as employees a way to contact CICP with tips that can lead to arrests and/or recovery of stolen equipment and materials. These signs have led to over $108 million dollars in recoveries and over $200 thousand dollars in rewards paid to tipsters.
Some of our signage, including our "No Trespassing" and "Parent Alert" signs also help limit your liability on a jobsite by warning parents, children and other would-be trespassers to stay of your site for their safety. |
